I take it reading comprehension is not your forte

My post only addressed lsu fans' opinions of the espn talking heads, which is what this thread is about

It had nothing to do with play

MSU and reading comprehension is an oxymoron.

I understand that. I was simply stating that LSU's play couldn't be farther from backing up LSU fan's opinions of the talking heads, hence the fluffed ranking.

ESPN is trolling you. They're just picking a popular school and know full minded that LSU will most likely shite the bed.

Sweet Jesus. Please tell me you don't honestly believe ESPN is actually trying to troll LSU. That's a whole new level of stupid.

They're not trying to "troll", but it's def a viewer driven pick made to ruffle feathers and create a little controversy. Anybody that doesn't pick Auburn from the West much less the SEC is brain dead or making a playoff pick for controversial reasons. It's what ESPN does, just like LSU has accused them of doing every year until now, lo and behold.

What would you think if ESPN picked Arkansas to make it to the playoffs? That's how the rest of the SEC laughs / feels about LSU right now.

Much as I hate it, ESPN is doing their usual con-job... boosting college rankings of certain teams to enhance an upcoming game.

In this case, they are looking forward to a "top-ten matchup" of Auburn and LSU gambling that both will be undefeated.

ESPN does this multiple times every year. Suddenly for no explainable reason some team ... say ... Penn State ... suddenly gets a lot of ESPN attention and publicity and jumps into the top 20. Easy to explain... look out two weeks and see they have an upcoming game against Michigan or some such.

The current LSU love is probably journalistic prostitution...given that ESPN was dumping on the team a month ago.

That said, it is within the realm of probabilities that LSU might actually put all the pieces together.

Auburn vs. LSU is on CBS

ETA: after State and Auburn our schedule is a shite sandwich until November.

Had you used the LSU-MSU game you would have had a point. The fact that you used LSU-AU, which is already slated to be on CBS, just makes you look foolish.

It's amazing that more people don't notice this. It's the same thing as preseason ranking being released a year in advance and getting "updated" every week after that.

It would probably really upset me. So bad that I would probably waste my day trying to convince people on the rant that Arkansas sucks and that a multibillion dollar company has nothing better to do than rustle Arkansas' feathers.

Corndog melt this year will be of biblical proportions

So the fact that the Texas State Fair sells more corndogs than Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, etc. combined has what exactly to do with anything ??????????

Since you are ostensibly, in the state of Texas, you would know that the biggest selling item by far at the Texas State Fair is your beloved corndog - made with the biggest agricultural product of Iowa and Nebraska.

If not, you have the IQ of a doorknob.....
