LSU fans - what do you expect?

LSU brought in a new DC and made the move to a 3-4 defensive scheme. My question is what are your honest thoughts about it?
Just looking at it up front, I'm not sure you guys have the meat for DL in a 3-4? Are you expecting it to take a season or two for recruiting to cater to it?
Also, I'm assuming it will be similar to the scheme Bama runs. However, going into last year they were facing criticism due to performance against the spread. It seemed better last year, but then got dismantled again by Auburn and OSU, two spread teams. And that is at Alabama, where they have been recruiting to fit their defense for years and let's be real, they have more talent than anyone else and are coached by Kirby Smart. I'm not so sure about the decision to move to a 3-4 now, when so many teams are adopting spread offenses.
So my questions are, what do you expect from the defense this year? And what do you think about the decision to go 3-4?

3-4 seems to be a better fit for the types of players that chief was recruiting. But, I think we run a 4-3. I think LSU will have a very good defense.

we aren't base 3-4. I doubt we run any 3-4 this game to be honest.

Nah coaching is the difference between LSU and Alabama.. LSU has just as much talent year in and year out than bama.

I expect us to start off conservative/rusty and let the D/LF do our dirty work for a bit, then after Harris settles in we open up a can of whoop arse from the O. And then all those bells fall silent and order is restored. That's what I expect
