Dude, I'm sorry, but comments made by people on an online message board six months ago should not be still affecting you so severely. You need to understand that everything said on the internet needs to be taken with a grain of salt and that if you are going to get your feelings hurt then tRant may not be the place for you.

You guys keep saying this and it's completely wrong. UCF also postponed their game. You know...the other team that was in the projected path of the storm.

The decision that was handed down from the SEC commissioner was slow and wrong.
1st Playing the game the scheduled week any where close to Gainesville should have been taken off the table very early in the week
2nd Understandably the Florida Administration slow played and did not want to cancel a huge home game and move the game to another venue or school the scheduled week.
The correct decision would have been to play the game in Baton Rouge that week and swap the home field advantage to Florida in 2017 giving Florida 2 home games in a row.
Both Florida and LSU had to cancel games losing revenue and most likely sure wins due to very ineffective decision making.
Any mocking was by keyboard fans and not by the majority of adults in Louisiana, and if anyone knows about the devastation of a hurricane we do as does residents of Florida.
Not so sure our AD handled the whole affair correctly but the Florida administration did a very poor job as the SEC commissioner also.
Move on and lets play the game next year in Gainsville

Sorry, "mocking" was done very publicly by the LSU administration, and it continued for weeks. It was then picked up in local and then national media. Refusal to play the open week before Alabama was only one sportsmanship travesity. Alia should have been fired for the way he needlessly stoked the issue. He certainly cost LSU any future good will and consideration across the conference.
The LSU fan base continues the narrative that they were entitled to that as a home game. They therefore refused all compromise. And Aliva wouldn't even agree to swap home dates, he wanted the home game for free. The SEC office finally forced that issue but only after Aliva almost refused to play the game at all. Meantime the public " mocking" of Florida continued.
The blatant use of a hurricane to gain advantage, the refusal to use the open date thereby avoiding loss of a game, and the constant denigration and mocking publicly by the LSU administration is why the rest of the conference was and is disgusted. You LSU people need to take a good look at your entitled behavior. That includes everything from "refs" to "schedules" to "SEC office in Birmingham."

I tend to agree. Something I noticed pretty early on when I joined here. This is coming from someone who has been to Nola numerous times for vacations. I wanna like 'em, but man they make it hard to. I just don't get their ugly attitude towards other people here.

I used to post on an Ala. fan forum in 2007, was threatened w/ violence, and ultimately banned by the stick up the arse moderator.
Now, given your fanbase's history of sexually assaulting an unconscious teen in a Krystal on Bourbon St, poisoning your rivals' historic trees, shooting each other after losses, if you come on an LSU-based website and spout BS about the circumstances of last yr's FL game, and then how "mean" LSU fans are, you're going to get called on it.
