Depends on what LSU team shows up. If Mickey is still hurt then we won't beat a good NC State team most likely.

Same story all year, if we play like we can/should..I think we have a better than 50% shot at beating Nova. They play an uptempo game from what I'm told, which fits or style better since we can't run a set offense to save our lives.

You might as well flip a coin. The Bengals have been schizophrenic all season. Almost beat UK, lost to Mizzou.

Villanova is really fricking good. You people saying 50% or more than 50% are being really delusional.

Gotta dominate Villanova inside where they are weak (they only play 1 guy over 6'7), we certainly have the big men to do that(assuming Mickey finally is healed up/gets his head of out of his arse), but their guards would probably wear ours down, they have plenty of good ones.

Pick nova. You are already taking a chance by not picking nc state

We'll live and die by Mickey's health and performance. They're known for great guard play, and some of our guards can't play defense for shite. I do like the mental case Nova might be with all their recent choking. You know it's lurking in the back of their mind

I think everyone knows what LSU is capable of, but too unpredictable to give you anything concrete. Plus I'm really biased

I didn't say they weren't good. I think we match up well and if we play up to our actual talent level like we did West Va and UK then we I think we have a slight edge of 50%...not saying 70-80% dipstick.

If we hit 100% free throws then it's a lock haha

It wouldn't be a surprise to see LSU win, but Nova deserves to be favored.

LSU will out athlete them badly. Just depends on if we don't play reckless while doing so.

Basically my stance. Clicking on all cylinders, LSU can really do some damage in the tournament.

If you've got money riding on this, go Nova. If you're wanting an "outside the box" bracket with upsets, LSU wouldn't be that bad of a pick

Are we supposed to win? Then we'll lose.

Are we supposed to lose? 25% chance we win.

It's the only #9 vs. #1 matchup that LSU would have a chance of winning in the Tourney.

I could see LSU giving Nova fits, then again, I could see NCSU beating LSU by double digits.

LSU is the biggest mystery in the Dance.

Nova hasn't made it past the round of 32 in their last 4 tournaments. Twice as a 2 seed.

Have no idea. With this team, no telling what will happen.

Honestly, I think we make a nice darkhorse pick. We definitely COULD beat Nova...

We've got a lot of what you want for a tournament run.

Strong presence inside with Mickey and Martin; Martin in particular could catch fire and carry us. Definitely could use depth up front, but at least Malone and Bridgewater could give minutes and fouls.

Solid guards (yes, we do)- you have the stereotypes: Hornsby is the 3 pt shooter, Patterson is solid at the point, Quarterman gives us the lanky swingman, Gray is the athlete who could swing the game (to be fair, both ways).

Granted, we might get drilled in the first round- but if we get hot again, we could make a run.
