Oh look an LSU thread! Hog fans come running like slop has just been thrown in the pig pen.

This. I want to beat them like it's 2011 again. It baffles the mind that a mediocre team's fans talks so much shite because they beat another mediocre team the past 2 years.

Quinn started most of his freshman year. I would not call that playing sparingly.

Quinn has 22 catches and zero TDs in 2 years and had 7 starts as a freshman. For reference Diarse has 28 receptions and 3 TDs with 3 starts as a redshirt freshman.

IMO, it doesn't really matter how many starts if they were barely productive. Now that also falls on the QB and coaching staff as well, but these two plus Diarse and Spears are much needed somewhere else.

You don't know if they would have played. D. Craig is recruiting a different type of receiver than these guys. The new WR coach came in, and they saw the writing on the wall. Neither of these guys are vertical wideouts.

Yep. People need to check out the recruits at WR in the 2016 and 2017 class. Not one is below 6'2 and four are 6'4 or taller.

4 WRs is a lot. 3 of those guys had played and showed they could contribute at a high level. That can't be good.

Why do aggies always say they're rich?

because they were poor for so long and because they are texicans. it seems they are born to brag whether it's facts they spout or not. it was just a couple of years before aggie joined the SEC that their athletic dept was broke. running in the red. and their facilities were below average and their football stadium was infested with bats and their shite.

the SEC money AND, esp, the renewed interest from alumni has got them out of debt and brought their facilities up by a lot. Alabama, LSU, Florida and Georgia all have more financially successful athletic departments but they don't have that tejas disease of running at the mouth about everything tejas.

This is a Football board and Aggies pretty much have always sucked at it. They have to say something.

The school has a big endowment for SEC Standards, but most people that post here aren’t rich. So “we are rich” it’s really not true. It’s just a way to make their miserable lives seem slightly better while they type it.

It baffles my mind that LSU thinks they're in the same league as Alabama year after year

The kid in jail was at another college already. He had been kicked off long before he went to prison. Out depth is as good as it's been since 2011

Johnson was bumped to 4th heading to 5th WR on depth chart. At Lsu that's not a good sign.

Nobody is on Alabama's level of consistency right now, that doesn't mean other SEC teams havent beat them and won championships though either.

The new guys coming in are much better pure WRs with blazing speed. Not worried here no one really is. With Dural, Dupre and Chark we are good. Those are our starters and will rotate a couple of the freshman in. Remember the name Chark!!! He gonna be a baller.

Idk who says this bc everyone I know on the boards say the exact opposite but we do believe we are getting back to where we will compete and possibly pass them on D if Aranda and Orgeron stay to do so. We have to land the big targets at linebacker and on the Dline this year though which I think we will. Our size is coming back to the front seven and will make LSU a completely different team. This years D will be good but the next 2 will be outstanding and may be good enough to win us a lot of games on their own. This will not be the same ole defense of the last 4 years watch.

Who says this? Maybe a few of the retards, but we've being trying to dig our way out of being a 3 loss team the past 4 years. LSU is 3rd, 5th, 4th, in the West the last 3 years and I've never predicted a record higher than 10-2 before any of those seasons began. I accepted both Ole Miss and Bama as losses last year. Didn't expect the loss to the Hogs in consecutive years though.

Why would anyone be surprised about WR's leaving LSU. It's not they throw the ball much. I guess that will continue this year.

This thread is about impact.

Johnson had the talent to impact a game that most of the other transferees didn't have.

I agree it seemed like his attitude was holding him back. i think it became clear he didn't want to be here.

I guess it wouldn't surprise you either that if you check NFL WRs over the last 10 years to find LSU with more in the league than the tide.
