They were all guys that were going to get passed up or who were already passed up. Our depth is fine.

Starting or not isn't the issue. I would think depth at WR HAS to be an issue. You have two WRs that have caught a college pass? can this be right, or did the article make a mistake? Or maybe I misunderstood?

Don't get me wrong....it might not affect LSU at all, but at this juncture it HAS to be a concern, I would think.

WR Trey Quinn to SMU played sparingly his freshman year.

Didn't realize Trey went to SMU. Think that will be a great fit.

Quinn started most of his freshman year. I would not call that playing sparingly.

Believe we are at 83 scholarship players, so depth is still great.

Jeez. Did you even stop and think before you posted that?

Sigh. Alright, you are begging to be insulted and since I am feeling generous I will insult you.

Yes, you are right, beating a meaningless team like LSU is nothing to us.

There, you got your insult you were looking for. Please have the decency to tell me that you didn't rub one out over it.

Who is in jail?

Idiot OP may be talking about Trey Lmfao. He doesn't factor into the 11 transfers this year since he was kicked off the team 2 years ago before he ever played a snap and typically one won't count as a transfer if he transfers to jail. But like I said, idiot OP.

We only have room for so many scholarships. Many of those guys were getting "processed" anyways.

Most of these guys were burried in the depth chart.

So Les is a poor evaluating talent, got it.

The only ones that would have played are Tyron, Trey and Diarse.
You don't know if they would have played. D. Craig is recruiting a different type of receiver than these guys. The new WR coach came in, and they saw the writing on the wall. Neither of these guys are vertical wideouts.

LOL. All those guys except for the kicker were 3rd string or worse.

Outside of losing LaCouture to injury and the kicker, we haven't lost anybody that would have played a significant role for LSU this year.

Offense
- Loading RB stable, best in the nation, lost nobody
- Top two WRs will be high round draft picks, and the ones behind them are extremely gifted just inexperienced
- Two QBs with at least 2 years of playing experience each (both combine for 26 or 27 starts)
- 3 returning OL and a 4th who played some last year because of injury to 2017 4th round round OT
- All 3 FBs return including the guy we lost halfway through the year who was our game one starter
- All TEs return

Defense
- Both DEs (Godchaux played DT last year though). They combined for 90 tackles, 18.5 TFL and 14 sacks. Neal didn't really play in 2014 and Godchaux didn't do really much as a true freshman in 2014.
- Key is a starter LB but was a starting DE last year, and trust me, every team we play is going to hate and/or respect him when the game is over. Beckwith returns after 2 great years, to become elite in Aranda's scheme
- The secondary brings back everybody except Mills who didn't play the first 5 games last year (and only started the last 5-6) because of injury.
- Valentine though, watch out for this guy. I'm as excited as anybody about what he can do for LSU.

I was hearing that too but it wasn't a talent issue. He could have worked his was back into it.

He could have, but I thought he was fighting for 4th at best even before spring was over.
