They're not real Aggie fans anyway. Real Ags don't act that way. It's well versed in SEC rant history that they are indeed LSU alters who are making A&M look bad.

That's actually a lot more realistic than the OP. Hiring our 58 year old washed up defensive coordinator for more than most head coaches make and hoping that he'll be able to beat LSU by himself (since obviously no one else on the A&M staff can do the job) is the definition of "desperation"

So, LSU was the first to use third and Chavis?

Usually when something like that is validated, most normal people accept it as fact.

Glad to see your hanging on to your hope.

Welp that's that. The Aggies have once again proven that they're worthless message board trolls.

It's a wrap, fellas! Lock the thread.

I can't wait until the excuse posts start after Aggy loses again to LSU.

They've already started that.

The best was when we hadn't formally introduced him yet and there were all those posts like "is it really true? Maybe he's reconsidering? Maybe I am just having a bad dream?"

Those posts by LSU fans were the best. "Wake me up! Aggy can't possibly be really taking our best coach". "No way Alleva will let that happen!"

You realize LSU isn't the only team on our schedule, right?

Gus, Dan, Nick, Bert and Les all look forward to complete domination of Aggie. All of these coaches have beaten Chavis when he had elite talent..........None are worried much with what he has now Even Ôle Les figured it out.........run it right at him, choke job

Only an LSU fan can pull off the mental gymnastics to call a DC "washed up" fresh off a season with a top 5 scoring defense

So is it all on the players that your offense sucked last year? I thought Fournette Dupre and Quinn were really good and stuff

No one ever said he wasn't a good recruiter. Nor did anyone ever say that he wouldn't help your defense (nowhere to go but up).
What everyone is laughing at you for is you think you've won something by "stealing" a coach with clear deficiencies. For nearly his entire entire tenure at LSU his defenses struggled at the LB spot. Guess what position he coaches?

He also had some huge mental gaffes that cost us more than our share of close games, especially lately.

I can't blame the Ags for being optimistic about Chavis. There hasn't been a defense in College Station since before most of you hit puberty. But you also can't blame LSU fans for being optimistic about a new (hopefully more aggressive) DC who can actually coach LBs AND a great recruiter/DL coach in Ed O.

You may have heard but we had a little trouble at a pretty important position last year. As bad as the QB spot was for us it's not even in the same stratosphere with how shitty A&M's defense was. We had 1 major problem on offense last year. A&M had 10-1/2 major problems on defense. The 1/2 is for Garrett but that dude disappeared in SEC play.
