Several things.

Y'all can not stop the dribble penetration. Teams with great guard play are going to torch LSU. Y'all get dominated in the paint.

LSU needs Victor to get on the floor. I know...I know, he has to sit out. Plus not having Hornsby hurts as well.

Blakey is not a one and done.

Jones is still the coach. WTF, the press was killing Marquette, Jones went away from it.

Simmons is the most dominate player in college, I think he needs to be selfish and take over on the court.

Agree with most you said. Dribble penetration is most alarming. Knew coming in without victor we would struggle on the glass.

Problem with LSU is the coach...sorry LSU fans, he is going to hold y'all back. Better figure how to stop the guards driving on you and getting easy shots. What did Marquette shoot tonight, 80%...they got easy shots.

It's still early my guy. We will sure things up just tune in. And like you said were missing two key players. And we can stop penetration. We just had to help down low a lot because of the lack of depth and size

All good points. Hopefully when Victor is eligible and Hornsby is healthy our half court defense will improve. Hornsby is a really good defender.

We have no good 'big' right now and they got abused by Marquette down low.

Hopefully these guys get some experience now to provide us with some depth after Victor starts up in mid December.

This team will be fun to watch all season, but I don't think we have the bigs to compete for a championship.

Kentucky doesn't look lights either. Y'all will not go 18-0 in conference this year. No saying we will beat y'all but y'all will lose a few

LSU has the talent, they have tremendous talent with the best player in the nation. Johnny Jones is terrible though, totally incompetent.

Played with shite effort tonight in New York City. Pretty lame.

LSU is missing 2 starters though. They'll be good come spring time.

If you mean one and done to the D League, you are correct. He can not play defense.

When Victor comes back, our perimeter defense will improve. We were sliding down to play help against their bigs putting us out of position on the perimeter. Victor should have a huge impact on this team.

He was fine on defense. He made a few silly fouls, but his on ball defense was fine.
