Alleva is looking to give Johnny a raise and multi year extension... He told me he feels that Jones just needs more monetary motivation.

His arse should be scorched by now. His teams play with no sense of urgency, no fundamentals, and has no basketball IQ. Other than that things are looking up.

Everyone's on the "hot seat" at LSU. No exceptions. The AD, president, all coaches, their mothers, the players, the students and the fans. We are all on the "hot seat" according to tRant.

He should have been last season though we are 7-2 the team is still not coached well. We have high coaches who can coach better than him

When the damn Gymnastics team is more exciting to watch and draws a bigger attendance than the basketball team, that should give you your answer to whats the state of the basketball program.

It's mind boggling really. A Championship winning coach in Miles gets fired before this hot garbage of a coach in Johnny Jones. Joe Alleva is as much to blame as Johnny Jones.....

As a LSU fan, I've become apathetic towards basketball. After being disappointed with the way last year went, I've just given up.
