LSU/BAMA, reminds me of the '08 teams

LSU/BAMA, reminds me of the '08 teams. Alabama was rolling, was the start of the process by Saban. Undefeated Alabama matches up against a 2 loss LSU. We all know how it ended..in OT.
Point I'm trying to make is, since 2007, this series has been really weird. It's safe to say you can throw everything that's happened so far in the season out of the window. Both teams are relatively healthy.
Alabama deserves to be favored by the margin that they are favored by. Alabama fans have a right to be confident. But for the past 6 regular season games, this game hasn't reflected what both teams have done prior (minus '11 in BDS).
Tl;dr whatever. If you aren't looking to have a good discussion, then post in the other 10 flame threads.
I'm looking forward to the game, because I know it has a great matchup in store

Agreed. It's been a very even series since 08 with close, hard fought games. I expect the same next week.

I expect LSU to play Bama tough the first half. Tied or within a field goal. In the second half LSU's soft run D catches up to them and forces them to commit more DBs up. AJ hits Coop or OJ for some big plays and Bama pulls away.

As a bama fan i think the trend continues with another hard fought game. This is pretty much all LSU has to play for, ruining Bamas season. I think Odell-Beckham and Landry present some matchup problems on the outside. I expect a 27-23 type game.

Bama was favored in that game. We had only lost one game going into it, and were playing pretty well. I want to say the line was around 3 1/2.
