LSU-BAMA: If you could take one position unit from the other, would you?

If you could take one position unit from the other team, would you? Which one would give you more confidence in a win?
For example, as a Bama fan, it would be tough to not take the best RB in CFB, but I would probably choose the LSU OL because I think that a consistent line would give us a better chance at a win. Coker can make good, strong throws when he has (more than our OL can give him) time. They look out of sync much of the time and have only played 1-2 solid games all year. Consistency is a huge problem.
I think it’ll be interesting to watch a really good LSU OL face off against a really good and deep Bama DL. Those are the matchups that usually decide the game in the biggest of stages. Unfortunately, I don’t really like the aspects of the Bama OL against the LSU DL as it stands. They may play a hell of a game, or Cam may get beat every other play again.
Our LBs match up well for the style of football that LSU plays, but LF’s ability to get to the edge in the early part of the game will be the difference maker. I think if he can do that early, then the middle will open up later and it would be hard to beat LSU.
Both of our Special Teams are shite.

I'd take Bama's punter. Keehn is awful.

Agreed. I like us everywhere else but DL and probably LB, and we can still manage. We can't manage with Keehn. DBs, not sure... it's a little bit different because it's scheme/coaching more so than talent.

I remember being scared of the field position Brad Wing was going to put us in. That dude was awesome. So glad he's gone....

There is a real possibility that he bombs a 15 yarder every time he punts

90% of the mouth breathers on this board don't understand how much field position affects the game.
Keehn's 15 yard punts have put LSU in bad positions all season.

So true....and it's especially been huge in this game for the past few years.

I would take AL's Linebackers no questions asked

Our LB's are LSU's LF. The obvious choice that you could not possibly go wrong with. I do worry a little about their ability to get to the edge against LF. They've had a little trouble here and there, though not consistently or for long periods of time, with that.

I used to have so much fun on the ESPN boards when other teams' fans would ask which LSU player they should be afraid of. I'd answer Wing, the punter. They'd get annoyed, thinking I was messing with them. I'd laugh at them and tell them they'd learn how much fun it is starting all their drives within their own 5 yard line. :-D
