LSU and MSU baseball

It's been a while since that great rivalry has been what it used to be. At one time those two programs battled for the Sec. Even as a youngster I can remember the great tailgating regardless where the games were played. Can Cohen bring back MSU to those long awaited days?

ETA: we really squandered an easy schedule last year. It's going to be tough to go on the road to Vandy, Florida and LSU. Tough might be an understatement.

It was pretty good in 2013 when we spanked y'all the first two games and so your trashy coach/pitcher intentionally threw at Katz in Game 3.

Best series in the Sec if you ask me. Tailgating is unreal both sides. Trade you a ribeye for some crawfish

When yall came to BR two years ago we saw 4 or 5 Miss St fans walking around by our tailgate. Immedaitely had beers in their hands to shotgun and they ended up staying all day. They invited us to come up to Starkville for our football game the next year and then actually came by our football tailgate this past season.
Was awesome. Definitely a baseball rivalry but I've only had good experiences with clanga fans.

I was one of them, and more than a few. We had the Kabobs going and met some new but moreso the usual Lsu fans we've enjoyed tailgating with for a while. Got my first Andy Gator beer, good stuff! Wish they would port some to Mississippi!

I remember a double header between LSU and State at Old Alex Box Stadium in the 80s that was going to determine the SEC Champ. Crowd was so large, the coaches agreed to allow fans to sit on the field. We had many fans sitting on the field along the fence.

MSU has a big stadium and rich history. They're going to be a threat to win SEC in baseball most years.
