LSU can't fire Miles. He's been too successful. It would look terrible and stain a good programs reputation.

It would be the last 4. Bama, Ark, OM, A&M.

Yes-and I know this sounds like an excuse-but he does have a young team that no one expected to do anything this year anyway. I remember them being picked to lose 3 or 4 games and place 3rd in the west which is possible.

Kinda like Miss State to finish dead last and Auburn to win the Sec.

Uh, plenty of people picked them to win the playoff preseason. Including Corso and Herbstreit. LSU had tons of expectation.

We were young last year. I guess like Tennessee we are doomed to be forever young.

Buyout will be spread out over 8 years so it's not that bad.

And yes if he loses out he is gone.

If LSU falls to Ole Miss and plays like we did against Bama and Arky things will get bad quickly. You have not paid attention to Lsu since 1/12 when we lost to the evil empire.

We have more players in the NFL than anyone and have little hardware to go with it. We did play Bama hard in 2 of the last 5 games but the heart of Bama proved out in the last minute of both of those games.

Last year in 2014 Lsu was completely out-played by MSU /Auburn/Arky - This year Lsu was completely out-played by Bama / Arky back to back with a very good Ole Miss team facing us on Saturday at their house.

If Les would coach a team in 2015 with LF7 on the field lose the final 3 of 4 or 4 of 4 - you are out of touch with what is going on in Baton Rouge if you don't think the TAF big money guys are just going to sit and take it.

Les runs a clean program - the young men love him
He is a great human and person - but - business is business

Could Lsu become the next Tenn/Texas/The U / Penn State - yep

troubled times in BR - I am hoping the team blows up Ole Miss - we shall see

You weren't on the rant this off-season, I see.

You guys are massively overrating Fournette. He was pretty good last year against the shittier defenses. He was really good this year against the shittier defenses. He's never really done shite against good defenses. He's not going to save you when you play the better teams.

The Lsu fan is aware that no running game - stand alone- is going to win against Bama / Arky proved over the last 2 seasons. Arky has beat us worst over the last 2 seasons than Bama.

Les talks balance but he is the OC and the team reflects Les. His single minded game plan rings like a cow bell at places like Bama and Arky.

If you give Les a great D like we had in 09/10/11 Les makes hay keeping games with the like of Bama close and sees what happens in the last 3 minutes of the game. That is his MO

Don't think you can change the man

Bama - 5 in a row
Arky - should be 3 in a row - 2 in a row

Would you rather win the next two or lose them so you can fire Miles? I ask because it seems like a lot of y'all are done with him regardless.

I would never root against LSU, and if we win the last 2 then great. Les has been great for LSU on and off the field but at this point I have little to no confidence in him being able or willing to do what's necessary to get the program back where we want it to be.

We won't be young next year. Butch will inevitably call us young anyway.
