The similarities are astounding.
- Led by an average/decent coach
- Heisman caliber running back
- An otherwise mediocre, one dimensional team with a TERRIBLE QB
- Starts the season highly ranked but losses here and there expose they were just a middle of the pack team that would have a losing record without their golden boy
Best part out of all of this?
They both lose to Alabama in a heartbreaker and then get crushed by Texas A&M later on in the season.

Miles and Dye were both above average. I think Dye had 4 SEC Championships during his 11 year run.

At what point does Les Miles leave his pants in a lake?

Hey bud.
Don't give up yet.
I'm nearing the end of my tRant career. I can see the horizon in the distance.
But not yet.

Except the best part is nothing more than your conjecture at this point. "Crushed" by Texas A&M was good for a laugh though. Thanks for that.

If LSU had Pat Washington at QB, they would win the national title.

The most wins over ranked teams since 2005 = average/decent
