The similarities are astounding.

- Led by an average/decent coach
- Heisman caliber running back
- An otherwise mediocre, one dimensional team with a TERRIBLE QB
- Starts the season highly ranked but losses here and there expose they were just a middle of the pack team that would have a losing record without their golden boy


Best part out of all of this?



They both lose to Alabama in a heartbreaker and then get crushed by Texas A&M later on in the season.

Miles and Dye were both above average. I think Dye had 4 SEC Championships during his 11 year run.
