Since when are we grading teams based on looks? I would rather use the batting averages.

well if you notice i replied to a comment on our players looks from one of your own. in other words, i didn't start it but i have eyes and had noticed your players so i felt compelled to reply considering their looks or lack there of.

How does LSU get all these guys on 11.7 schollies? Do you have access to funding or something like Vandy?

It's ridiculous. Their entire lineup look like big leaguers. While minus 2-3 guys on our squad, everyone looks like they're about to go to them prom.

It's that way every year down there.

We do have access to funding and the program also sells itself. Those two combined is why LSU should never have a 3-4 bad year stretch.

And if does happen you can look right at the coach.

Steroids.

Seriously though, every player in LSU's lineup, except Jake Fraley, is a Junior or Senior.

How does that work? I just watch college BB, I can't keep up with the nitty gritty rules that don't seem to apply across the board.

Even our veteran senior, Joe Serrano looks like he's 15.

Remember Tim Carver? He still looks 14 coaching first base.

LA has TOPS, which can cover your full tuition if you have a high enough GPA and ACT score. I believe they use that for instate kids and save the athletic scholarships for out of state players.

The state of louisiana has the TOPS program. If you are from louisiana and your grades and ACT are good enough (i dont know the requirements but i do know they have made them harder. The benchmark used to be really low) then you dont have to pay tuition.

So LSU doesnt have to offer scholarships to in state students that receive this funding and can use it on OOS athletes or athletes who dont have TOPS.

The exception is football, they dont allow that.

Maybe Arky needs a better S&C program?

Got it.

We'll never learn how to win with the big boys I'm afraid but we are putting a shite ton of Elite talent into the big leagues right now.

They still have to maintain a certain GPA to keep receiving TOPS.

TOPS is a scholly that any Louisiana resident can get. If you maintain certain GPA though High School and get at least a set score on the ACT you can get paid 4 yrs paid tuition to any public university in Louisiana. When I graduated High school it was a GPA of 2.5 and ACT score of 21. I think it has gone up since then.

So baseball players from the state of Louisiana can get a TOPS scholly, and the 11.7 can be used on out of state players.
