Who you got?

LSU is clearly the most talented team but I think we match up well. Our perimeter defense is going to give your guards issue as we basically pick you up when you cross half court. For whatever reason, I don't think LSU plays that smart of ball and if we can force Quarterman and Blakeney to keep jacking up poor shots it'll play into our hands.

I got us winning a very close one by about 5 or so.

Idk that I would say they have the most talented team. Most talented player is undeniable.

I think this is every LSU fans fear whether they admit it or not. What gives LSU trouble year in and year out is disciplined teams which USCe is. We'll go through defensive lulls every 5 min or so as usual unless we just come out laser focused. I got you guys winning by 6-8. Also think it could be a look ahead spot for the rematch with A&M.

Bad matchup for LSU, really.

They should be able to take advantage of our lack of post depth. Also, they rebound it VERY well. Have all season.

Unless we just have a really great shooting game (on the road, not likely), I really just don't see us winning this game. I would say it could be a double-digit loss, but they don't have the offensive firepower to beat us that soundly, I don't think.

Gonna need a big, big game from Simmons if we're going to win this one. I think South Carolina wins and covers the spread.

Think we win in a close one, probably by 5-6 pts.

I am not really impressed with USC. Home court advantage may be the deciding factor but if this was on a neutral court I think LSU would be favored.

I admit we are not that impressive of a team, but if you watch the game tomorrow you'll see why our record is what it is. We are outstanding at rebounding and getting those little trash buckets that make the difference in wins and losses. We'll out hustle you and D you up and get you in foul trouble. It ain't pretty but you'll see what we're about tomorrow.

I agree though home court is pivotal.

100% what CT said. Our team is just relentlessly hard working. Nothing really flashy about it at all. Good defense/rebounding, smart shot selection on offense and like CT mentioned, we get opposing players in foul trouble a lot. The home court will probably be the deciding factor as I think it is now just us and UK that are undefeated at home in the SEC.

I don't mean any disrespect by it. Apparently the entire country is somewhat disrespecting the gamecocks considering yall dropped out of the rankings and still have a great record. Kind of sucks because I would rather yall be ranked and not pissed off

For whatever reason, Simmons has played a bit better on the road as a rule. Having seen the Gamecocks a number of times, I think they'll do a better than average job of slowing Ben down, however if that's at the expense of perimeter defense, the Tigers have enough firepower to forge a win regardless. I would guess both teams will bring their A-game and the home-court edge will lend itself to a 3-5 point victory for USC unless Ben has a Vandy type game.

what LSU team shows up?

the team know for half-assing it for 10 minutes a game?
the team where Simmons leads the team and is aggressive?
the team that manages to get Victor and Simmons in foul trouble early?
the team that gives up 15+ open 3 pointers a game?

it's going to be a really tough game, in a tough environment against a well coached seasoned team. LSU will need to play their asses off and catch a few breaks along the way to get a W.

Should be exciting with the amount of talent on the floor nonetheless

Hey if 2 out of those 4 are the team that shows up you really got a shot. We can't shoot 3's to save our lives.

USCe by 3 because of home court. If Blakeney has finally found his stroke though give me LSU by 2.

man. tomorrow night, you will shoot lights out. i promise.

me and my other LSU friends always talk about teams shoot lights out from the 3pt line for us. That Ole Miss midget was chucking them from half court. Buddy Heild went NBA Jam on Fire against us. Fricking Malik Newman stroked 3-4 in the 2nd half against us. it's incredible.

part of it is us giving them open looks and the other is just luck or hell if i know.

I think it ends up being a good game for both sides, but I've gotta give the edge to LSU.

If LSU had a HC worth anything they would be scary good andvery well could turn into a basketball and football school IMO.

Ben Simmons and his supporting cast are fun as hell to watch. I'm impressed with what Martin is doing though as well in Columbia. Looking forward to checking this one out

This is about how LSU fans should feel about this game. LSU can win, but as it's a road game, Victor will probably get in foul trouble early. That just means LSU probably won't win unless the guards go HAM.

Is LSU's team our doppleganger? that is exactly what has happened to us. Same midget unloaded on us, some jabroni from Bama who literally went scoreless when they played UF the game before jizzed 3's all night, what's his face from UT gave us the cockmeat sandwhich and I even Mizzou had someone with at least 4 3's.
