It's been talked about for years that one day the major CFB teams should break from the NCAA and form their own leauge. Affiliated with the school in name and a mutually beneficial financial partnership, but not as NCAA regulated student athletic teams. Club teams, if you will.
With the NCAA giving Ole Miss the death penalty for some dude sleeping on his girlfriend's Couch and the idiotic governor of Louisiana threatening to halt CFB if he can't steal more from the State to give freebies to the unmotivated masses, maybe it's time to say eff you to both the NCAA and state governments and just form the semi-pro NFL farm leauge that the SEC and a few other P5 teams already are?

God damn I HATE sidewalk fans that want to turn college football into NFL Light. Sorry your life is so shitty that you live vicariously through a football program tied to a university you didn't attend. It isn't our fault.
For those of us who did attend universities we appreciate how the football team is PART of the experience. Go be a Saints fan.
