Honestly it does feel like a waste of defense and special teams. If we had the #25 (top 1/4%) QB in the country, we would be scarey good.

I think that defense is a little overrated personally. They have yet to play a real good offensive team honestly. I think LSU will get exposed once they get into playing the quality SEC teams. The offense is horrible and the defense will fare as well.

Well I meant that the defense will not fare as well against the better teams. LSU really has a weak schedule this year and only plays 3 quality teams IMO. Maybe only 2 since I am on the fence about Florida. I see LSU losing at Florida and Auburn and of course losing to Alabama at home.

Well I think it is overrated based on who they played. They have not played a real quality team this year. NC, MSU and Vandy all suck and WVU is average at best and LSU barely got by them. You can't say defense is great because they play well against average to horrible competition. Great defense's prove it against quality teams.

And who the hell is that exactly? We don't play Arkansas until the last game and Alabama didn't exactly light up Arkansas' suspect defense. shite, if Mallet doesn't lose his meth mind in the 4th quarter, y'all lose. So, Florida... all one team.

What quality team has LSU played this year. You are saying their defense is great because they play well against crappy opposition. If that is the case there are a ton of great defense in college football for the first 4-5 games of the season. Let's see how they do against a team that is actually good.

Saban made good halftime adjustments and shut down Arkansas in the second half. Alabama usually does this in most games that they play. Saban is very good at using the halftime to correct mistakes. Sign of the great coach plain and simple.
