Louisiana Relief Fund - The Rant?

I was just wondering if the owners/admins of the Rant have explored the possibility of starting something for the site members to donate to, or a list of charities in their local area (as I imagine most are in or are from LA) that would be best for us to donate time/money/goods to?

Something permanent that could be used for each SEC school when needed, preferably through something the universities have in place, if such things exist.
