For arguments sake let's pretend that that crazy ridiculous offer is true. If Texas does in fact offer $10M a year, would he entertain the thought?

And yes I know this isn't happening, I'm just speculating on the hypothetical. That's insane money.

I don't know, but Austin is a billion times better than Tuscaloosa. And that is fact.
Texas is a great program and it would be a new challenge. I don't think this is full retard or completely delusional. And nobody has more money than Texas.

The rumor actually appears to have originated from the Bama side from what the radio guys were saying. Maybe one of the longhorn posters will chime in.

I can't go to longhorn websites. The overload of burnt orange makes me nauseous

Texas brings in about $150 million a year in revenue. And now they also have to keep the LHN going. They stand to lose BIG money if they let Mack Brown hang on too long and continue the slip towards mediocrity or worse. So, $10 million a year is nothing for them in this instance.

I don't know if this particular rumor is true, but it is the sort of thing that Texas will have to do very shortly or it is going to lose a lot of money.

You do realize that Hail to the Chiz was responding to the following post when he said his "sources tell me this rumor is accurate" don't you? You aren't very bright are you?

"I'm calling BS on this report. I just got back from South Africa where I've been studying black magic. The natives let me borrow some of the local herbs and while under a euphoric trance it was revealed to me that Nick Saban will finish coaching at the University of Alabama, then die via drowning in "the lake" in his Ford truck."
