The most ridiculous part is that Texas would ever fire Mack. Never going to happen

Delusional. People keep bringing up these "Saban to" rumors because they hope like hell he'll leave Bama and the SEC. The only way he's leaving is when he retires.

No it's because he has always been a "greener pastures" type, he doesnt tend to stay in one job for to long.

I think he stays at bama until his contact expires(2017) but things do change. And money could be a deciding factor

i would think so, losing record last year, three losses already this year. if the aggies beat him again and he has lost to them and OU two years running. I think his seat gets really warm.

5-7 last year. Staring 6-6 in the face this year.

Darrel Royal had to "retire" for less and he had 2 national titles and the stadium is now named after him

It wouldn't be the Holiday Bowl without the Longhorns playing in it.

I, for one, hope he stays right where he is. By January 10, Miles will have beaten him 3 times in a row and 4 times out of 6, next November at Tiger Stadium will be looking grim for little Nicky, and Les will be in his head forever.

That's history. He's got one of the best job in sports; he's been there five years, and there's hardly another job around that tops what he already has. The man's 60 and it's unlikely he wants to pack up the family again to move to another rebuilding job. I'd be very surprised if Bama didn't turn out to be his last coaching gig.

On the other hand, it'd be funny as hell to watch the media-generated shitstorm if he left Bama for somewhere else. His new employer—especially if it was another college—would have a ton of shite sweeping PR work to do as the "once again he bails" angle gets flogged by the media.

I'm calling BS on this report. I just got back from South Africa where I've been studying black magic. The natives let me borrow some of the local herbs and while under a euphoric trance it was revealed to me that Nick Saban will finish coaching at the University of Alabama, then die via drowning in "the lake" in his Ford truck.

I thought that Okie State still had the inside track to jump Alabama and play LSU in the national title game according to resident BCS expert lsumatt?

OSU must beat OU for that to have a chance (I think Matt now puts it at <50% IF OSU wins Bedlam). I predict both teams will lose that game!

How does a team that recruits top 5 classes every year not have any depth or talent?
