Longest two weeks of the year

I see this come up time and time again, and if memory serves - both teams have been getting their bye weeks before each other for several years now.
So, let's call a spade a spade and start naming the rivalry this. I mean, Tennessee and Alabama no longer play on the Third Saturday in October, but the name stuck. Why not just call the LSU/Alabama rivalry "The Longest Two Weeks of the Year"?

I'm sure you'll get lots of down votes but I don't think it's a bad name

yeah ... while we're at it ... why don't we all just admit that Bama really did frick up royally vs. Ole Piss, and even with that, it still took some BS miracle plays for Black Bear to win.
Does anyone seriously think Bama will make that many mistakes on 7 Nov? I don't.

Should just become a two week revelry of drinking and shite talking. Power through it, go to work a little hungover each day. A college football Hanukkah if you will.

Chavis is taking up so much of the tamu payroll they had to hire some kid off the street to call the offense

Do you seriously think Bama has to make that many mistakes for LSU to win the game? I don't.

So far it seems like a fairly popular concept.
Can LSU and Alabama fans get behind this idea?
We can go back to trying to strangle each other later.

The First Saturday in November has a better ring to it, and it's actually played then

You should have submitted your rivalry petition a few years ago. LSU has no need for a rivalry with a program on the decline. Enjoy the loss in two weeks, and suck on our recruiting class for next year and the losses you'll pile up as your doom blossoms like a supernova of destruction and despair. Rivalry request denied.

It really is the longest two weeks of the year. It should be "The Longest Two Weeks of the Year", or "The First Week of November". Because in all reality, we look forward to the first week of November, we don't look forward to waiting two weeks. Either way, this rivalry is growing each year to be THE biggest game in college football
