They will never understand, ever. I wonder if TAMU and Mizz is starting to understand a bit now. Hmm maybe a few more years?

Maybe texas is too big.
I have a lot of friends that are auburn fans. It's a love hate relationship. I only hate them when they are talking smack.

Big 12 mentality is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different than the SEC. There is no conference pride in the Big 12, well not until recently with the whole realignment saga.. but most of that is for posturing.

WoW that's pathetic. Never thought about it til now but just realized you never hear chants from other conferences like S-E-C. Wand it's because of shite like Texas' selfish contracts with no revenue sharing and the SEC splits theirs. So if an SEC team wins everybody gets paid.

Hmm. The Whorns don't like me. Where would that fall on the Significance List?

It isn't so hard to understand. In the SEC we may hate each other on the football field, but there is an underlying level of respect. We respect each other because we push each other and the level of competition is fierce. Texas fans will never understand that because they have no respect for any other team.

I am looking forward to them bitching about the SEC chant after A&M destroys them in the Cotton Bowl. (...And FYI aggies, you won't officially be an SEC team until you do that.)

I hate conference pride. Bunch of school dick riding one another. I really don't give a shite if an SEC team wins BCS.. If Bama wins call me a ND fan..

I clicked on the link and saw the source. I left as fast as I could click delete.

That my SEC friends is the exact reason we are so happy to be in the SEC.

It's texas university and the 9 dwarfs.

They think they run the show since Nebraska, Colorado, Mizzou and A&M left. (Oklahoma has shown their true colors by staying. I think they suffer from battered wife syndrome.)

Thank all of you for welcoming us to the SEC.

I think being part of the South intensifies the SEC camaraderie more so that we may realize. We have always been looked down upon, told we are lazy, stupid, racist, poor pieces of shite for years. Being good at college athletics is something that we can readily beat our chests about, a rare source of pride that no one can dispute. I think aTm and Mizz will fit in just fine once they fully understand it is like a family (i.e. with the shite talking) at the end of the day you are still kin. You can get in a hell of a fist fight with your brother, but end up drinking a beer with him 5 minutes later.

An Auburn fan rooting for Bama so the title stays with the SEC? Maybe that's Alabama state pride talk cause it sounds ridiculous to me. Rooting for your biggest rival?

FWIW, I would root for most SEC schools to win it all except Bama, Georgia and Tennessee. Can't root for a rival if it doesn't directly help UF get into a better bowl game or something.

I would never pull for auburn to win, ever. Sometimes an auburn win helps us, so I am happy to benefit (like when they play LSU), but I never actually hope they win. That's unthinkable.

If Texas, Miami, and Ohio State combined into one team, coached by Lane Kiffin, I would still pull for them to beat auburn.

I pull for the SEC because I enjoy the fact that a one loss SEC team gets the nod over a one loss Big 12 team every time.

Let the SEC start losing a lot of out of conference games and see how long that lasts. It wasn't that long ago that we didn't get the benefit of the doubt.
