His last game at LSU was a bowl loss to Iowa (before he creeped out of town). His overall lifetime bowl record is a staggering 8-8 for a putrid .500 winning percentage. His incredible bowl record at Bama is 5-3. Alabama may be heavy favorites vs Michigan State, but his .500 record in the post season says don't bet on him winning it all. GEAUX TIGERS (in this case, Clemson.... then Michigan State, then Oklahoma).

Bowl records are the least impressive thing about any coach, player or school's resume. They are not a predictor of anything. Anyone with a half a brain knows this. I would say Saban's record in championship games is much more indicative of how things will probably go; he's 4-0 in national championship games and 5-1 in sec championship games. That's better than winning some crappy bowl.

Ohh... everybody look ... Cali the epitome of LSU still can't get over 1-9-12 after almost 5 years. I wonder what LSU's bowl record is during that time? Oh well, no matter since those bowls didn't count for anything? At least Saban didn't get prison abused by Notre Dame.

Keep this post handy. We'll want to see you refer to him as daddy when he leaves you high and dry in two years tops. You may want to pray extra hard this year. If they do happen to win it all, Saban, Smart, and Kiffin are gone. We'll make sure to remind you of who your daddy is at that point.
