1. Ole Miss
2. Alabama
3. Georgia
Really tough to leave Arkansas off this list but I think they lost too much on the Dline to finish in the top 3.. Thoughts ?

Not sure you can leave it at 3. I could see 6 teams within spitting distance of each other with their offense playing a huge factor:
Alabama (enuf said)
Arkansas (jury is out because they did loose 3 key cogs in their front 7h
Georgia (can y'all spare a LBer or 2?)
LSU (getting slim on the DL but one word...Beckwith....he is the truth!)
Ole Miss (Offensive time of possession will impact them more than anything)
Tennessee (once again the O will impact them along with how fast their youngsters develop)

I actually don't think we'll be in the top 3, but I do believe A&M has the talent to be in the top 5, assuming Chavis is worth the $2 goddamn million he receives per year.

LSU returns 7/11 from the #2 scoring D and #1 total D yet doesn't crack your list. Seems right

No I guess you didn't...but hate to tell you this but your "delusional" is showing.

Kevin Steele is an unknown with a pretty mediocre track record. Y'all will be in the top half just based on pure talent alone, but no one knows how much better Steele will make y'all on Defense.

Agree with you except descending order and Florida. It's going to be too close to call amongst that top six and Florida....just don't see it with their DC.

I agree, if y'all don't develop a running game, your defense won't be as effective.

LSU fans really are delusional. LSU will have a good secondary but a merely decent DL. (And OM won't drop from #1 in the nation to #5 in the SEC.)
