Baseball is not a big 3 college sport. It's a regional sport like hockey in college

There are only two big sports in the NCAA. Baseball would be bigger if there wasn't title 9 where some schools pick between wrestling, hockey, etc

you're a real dumb arse if you think our civilization survived the Bush Jr presidency. if you had even a smidgeon of objectivity you would go back and see what Bush inherited (balanced budget, peace dividend, no wars, low unemployment, etc, etc) and how he and his devastated the country. he managed to allow drug prices to triple, was on watch on 9/11, start an unnessary was with Iraq (that's still draining our treasury), give birth to ISIS and implode the economy.

but you can't fix stupid.

National Leaders that found solutions across party lines.

Eisenhower-Rayburn/Johnson
Reagan-O'Neill
Clinton-Gingrich

Flame away. (I'm at my congressional district convention as a delegate today, fighting off the blind ideologues.)

Can't find the link, but there was a large, objective study done a few years ago on our news agencies. The group that watched Fox News were more ignorant/misinformed than the control group who watched no news at all.

There is no shame in being conservative, but to quote or refer to that propaganda machine than panders to the simple minded would be laughable if it weren't so sad.

I don't agree with a lot of Fox, MSNBC, NYT, CNN, WSJ, etc., but I read from almost all of them daily. Forces me to think. I can't stand "echo chamber sound bites" I get from friends on both sides.

I'm going with the Roanoke Colony.

Those folks disappeared without a trace. I like that.

It's actually pretty well settled that the Roanoke colonists just left and intermarried with the natives.

There were blue eyed native Americans among the native Virginian tribes later.

Mayans. And I have no doubt that someday soon with submersible exploration they will find remains of a large civilization that predates recorded history by a few thousand years. We have been lied to about world history just like just about everything else we learned in church and school growing up.
