This is what this board fails to understand. Which is understandable as the vast majority never attended the school they cheer for and are posting from their dial up connection in their single wide.
College campuses are EXTREMELY liberal. ALL of them. West Coast, East Coast, Midwest....yes even (gasp) the Souf.

Conservatives are so fond of them I figured that move would have been extremely popular with the right???
It's weird, they call liberal cupcakes but literally burst into tears every time a perceived slight against a conservative happens.
The cool thing is, that every time one of these boycotts is planned the target entity benefits greatly.

My Great Grand father fought for the Confederacy in the Battle of Shiloh. I come from several generations of Southerners hailing from Virginia, the Carolinas, Alabama and especially from Tennessee. As a true Southerner, I am appalled at the hate expressed for a school we invited into the SEC. What ever happened to Southern hospitality? Now the hate will be directed my way, perhaps because of the insecurities of the attackers.

How did this thread get derailed? To answer the OP question, Bama and Kentucky take large amounts of staff to the Bowl Game and Basketball Tourney (WBB and Men). That is why both did not get a higher payout then the other schools.

The irony is that Mizzou is probably more conservative now than the other SEC campuses. After going through that SJW hell any school would turn red, at least for a while.
