Is that ever going to change? It needs to. Enough already

Not if the majority of native Mississippians remain dumb. If you raise the ACT requirement, you take a huge hit financially.

ETA: The problem is the public school system in MS

This is true. The concern was that you would end up with de facto segregation if you raised the standards at some of the schools so they set the standard where it is. Not Ole Miss' fault. Not MSU's fault. Love it or hate it, that is how it is.

Admissions standards may be the same . However the number of students accepted by each school that fall below a minimum act score is not . All 8 public universities differ in this respect . Students who fall below 16 on Act must take remedial courses . State and ole miss have different numbers , you can look it up on the Ihl web site .

Actually our admissions standards are regulated by the state government because of the HBCUs in our state. So ours and Ole Miss' are the same.

Suck a dick.

We substantially raised our ACT requirements for out of state students. Did MSU do the same? Because if not, you are in fact last, and you should be doing the dick sucking.

It is located in StarkVegas, where Landshark dreams go to die!! I hope the last thing Chad sees after the nightmare he has Saturday night is a big ole Stingray standing over him ringing that damn cowbell, hollering "whatcha gonna do boy? Whatcha gonna do?"

80% of the broadcast meteorologists you see on TV graduated from State, that is quite impressive!

It's sure as hell more impressive than anything Ole Miss can boast.

I am not so sure. OM can boast that about 80% of the a-hole lawyers in the state of MS all graduated from OM. They do have that accomplishment. I guess that makes them the a-hole Factory of the state.

And Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri, Vanderbilt, LSU, Texas A&M, and Tennessee.

Looks like Ole Miss is only a "High Research Activity" university.

How many schools can say they have facilitated and assisted in the production of a business jet prototype? I know one that can.
