Nothing good will come of this.
Last time I checked though LSU has a hard time with scoring points, so I highly doubt they win an SEC title this year

1 time in the last 5 or 6 years that the schedule isn't horribly unbalanced against LSU.
Not that this year returns the favor, it's just even. I'm still waiting for LSU to have the favorable schedule for once but I'm sure I'll be waiting until the end of time on that one.

Interesting. How many times have you seen 2015 LSU play?

3 of the 4 games in November could go either way. I see 1 opponent who will get destroyed when they visit though.

"it's" means "it is"
"its" is the possessive form of it.

You used to be good at this

I saw a stat on here the other day where since 2012 Bama's opponents actually finished ranked higher on average than LSU's. That whole tougher schedule thing was kiiinda overdone.
Florida- The one they hang their hat on hasn't been any good lately
South carolina- meh, whatever. Big win usually followed by a big loss.
Georgia- ok, pretty good but not intimidating.
If you play in the SEC you have as tough a schedule as the next guy. The big 10, no, big 12, no, pac 12, no. You have some games in there that you can win by showing up. Nobody in the SEC has that luxury save maybe playing Vandy.

The odd thing is the writer of the article leaned towards the schedule not helping LSU this year. The Tigers do their best work when they have a loaded schedule and that isn't the case this year.
Until we see how the LSU offense will do this year its impossible to predict how their season could wind up. If it is as bad as last season they could finish dead last in the West. If it is quite a bit better they could be in the College Playoff.
LSU is the West wildcard.

I honestly thought that our SEC slate in 2011 was the lightest it ever was in years. I know in the link that some of those SEC teams were ranked when LSU played them, but out of all of the conference teams played, only Bama and Arkansas finished with more than 7 wins in the regular season, with 3 conference teams missing a bowl.

I encourage every LSU fan on Tiger Droppings and the SEC Rant and any other message board to continue their rants regarding past scheduling by the SECPTB.
The ONLY reason the schedules are now more equitable is because LSU decided to finally address the elephant in the room and pound the issue home so that the media had to report it; they couldn't not report it. And despite the denials and accusations from Bama Nation that LSU is just a bunch of whiners and Bama never received preferential scheduling ( ), everyone is now paying much closer attention and the schedulers have to play fairer.
I also hope Tenn fans aren't delusional and they really are much improved. That would be the ultimate karma.

About damn time. I've been craving a Corndoge conference HQ conspiracy all summer.
You've done it now! You have figured out our ploys to get the conference to give us special treatment! Now just shout it from the roof tops!!
