Correct me if I'm wrong, but didnt Arky fans torch BAs car because they hated him so much?

Brandon Allen was the best QB we faced last year, by far.

Clayton Thorson gives him a run for his money

I don't see anyone ever shitting on Brandon Allen. How many Allen threads have there been this off-season?

Why did Allen fall so far in the draft if he is such a great pro-style QB? He had a really good year last year but that had to do with system and experience that's why he wasn't drafted high.
Let's say your right and that he was one of the best QB's in the country last year . now he is gone and being replaced By his younger brother who has very little experience. So is Arkansas going to suck this year or is BA's little brother a lot better then him?

Austin Allen is not only going to win the Heisman, but they are gonna rename the Heisman after him.

If the defense is much improved like we think it could be then Austin could be not as good and us still not suck.
But by all accounts Austin was the better QB in high school, not that that means anything now

Why was he a 6th rd pick if he was so great? How many times was play action was called compared to dropbacks. Like it or not, the spread offense is ran by majority of colleges and is working it's way into the nfl. Everybody wants that big and mobile qb

To quote one of the old classics, It was the best of times it was the worst of times. Ark fans seem to forget Brandon was one of the worst quarterbacks ever seen at Ark in the first 5 games or so at end of game situations and the red zone. Then the lights came on and he was the most wonderful quarterback Ark ever had in those last six or seven games. He was unbelievable. It was like he was schizophrenic with one personality completely void of confidence and decision and then it changed those last few games when he came out full of confidence swag and decisiveness. At mid season Ark had one of the worst red zone percentages in the country but by seasons end because he was so money in those situations Brandon had brought it up to one of the best. During that time he was the best I had ever seen by far at Ark and I hope it stays that way for him.

Hmmm. Can there be a middle ground? What if I told you that I did only watch one Arkansas game last year, yet have zero recollection of any of the specific plays this QB made, nor do I remotely remember his name? Would you still be mad or are we cool?

He has small hands. The draft don't have shite to do with this, they only draft what, 8 QB's a year out of 300(?) draft eligible QBs?
And it's "is run". Not "is ran".

He will be easy to replace though. -Arkansas fans

Paul Petrino threw him in the fire against ULM in WMS.
It fricked his head up, he wasn't prepared to to be QB.
frick the Petrino's!
Kid battled back under Enos and became a servicable QB.
Austin will thrive in Dan Enos' offensive scheme.

I should postmark that post and post it every time fournettes name appears after this season. We don't talk about players not playing in the sec anymore, right?

Is it really a 'system' if your game plan is always take you on man vs. man, no smoke and mirrors. We tell you exactly what we are going to do. We are going to look you straight in the eye, tell you we are coming straight at you, going to hit you in the mouth, run the ball on you and make you like it. And just for good measure, we are going to throw it on you enough to keep you from trying to stop us by stacking your line and overloading the box.

Yes, it's a system and Arkansas runs a TON of play action which is pretty much the opposite of "telling us what you are going to do and smacking us in the mouth"
