If he does this will he be the greatest running back to ever play in the sec and, perhaps, college football history?

You laugh but there's a good chance you could witness history next year. If we make it to the natty that gives fournette 15 games to get the yards. Very doable

I don't see it happening jsut because 2200 is a lot of yards

But I think if he gets 2000 give or take he is in the argument for best RB in the SEC.

Herschel has crazy numbers, but he got a frick ton of carries.

To catch Hershel in total attempts he would need 507 carries next season.

I think Leonard leaves college as the best in the SEC, maybe just arguably though.

No doubt. But that's why if he does accomplish it, it should give him a very good case for GOAT. He would definitely have v the best single season ever. Especially if he guides us back to the promise land of championships

I agree. I would rather he get a NC though

For LSU backs or perhaps even SEC backs but c'mon Barry averaged like 240 a game.

His freshman year, Herschel Walker accounted for 44.9% of the Georgia offense.

His sophomore year, Herschel Walker accounted for 43.8% of the Georgia offense.

His junior year, Herschel Walker accounted for 50.2% of the Georgia offense.

His freshman year, Leonard Fournette accounted for 23% of the LSU offense.

His sophomore year, Leonard Fournette accounted for 42% of the LSU offense.

Draw conclusions from that as you will.

No way, you can throw out the Bama and Ark game. He got a total of 122 in those two games. As for the 15 games, now way does that happen either. Your QB is Southland conference caliber and nowhere close. I'm afraid you are in for a lot of disappointment before the end of November

Besides, shouldn't 8 year old boys be in bed about now?

Admittedly biased. If he were to do that he would be an all time player.

I would throw out that Herschel was as close to a one man show as anyone has ever been. Just a small example would be the Sugar Bowl vs ND. His QB had one (1) co
Platoon for the entire game! Just about every game the other team piled up near the LOS and it didn't matter.

Not sure LF will get that chance.

HIGHLY doubt he even gets 2,000 yards this season with Guice getting more carries.
