Fully Guaranteed contract signed, sealed, delivered

quote:

Leonard Fournette has signed his rookie NFL contract, and every dollar is reportedly guaranteed.

quote:

There is no “offset language” in the deal, according to Rapoport. That means that even if the Jaguars were to release Fournette in a few years, he’d still be entitled to all the guaranteed money left on his deal, even if he signed with a new team.

I can name a whole bunch of former Heisman winners that would probably prefer to have $30 million guaranteed instead of winning that popularity contest.

He told me, that for real, he was voted the winner of the Heisman that year (Bama game not-withstanding). He called them and said he was passing on the award because he didn't want to have to be in that car washing commercial, so he let Henry win it.

There is a fair amount of loophole verbiage in those though.

Dude seems like the type that will give a shite ton of money back to his hometown community. I wonder how much he received from his Under Armour and Met-Rx endorsement deals.

I'd say that everybody drafted in the 1st round is, or gonna be rich (by their standards) when contracts are signed.

That's the same for every NFL player essentially, if they aren't idiots.

He's dropping to the second round.
He can't catch the ball.
Dalvin Cook is the best RB in the draft.
LF7 is the third best RB in the draft.

Congrats to Leonard Fournette!

Hopefully they get a o-line so he won't get destroyed.

They couldn't block me last year.
