I mean... what the frick?

Dude leaves both of his feet so he can go horizontal to the ground and land on Fournette's shoulders. And that was after it was pounded into his head all week that you have to hit him low. I have never seen such a poor excuse for a tackle.

AU fans - was that defender ever asked what the hell he was doing on that play?

What annoys me is when LSU fans pound their chest to that play as if Fournette owned that guy, but it really had very little to do with Fournette.

no one is denying the guy shouldn't have went up high but there are plenty of RBs that you can hit up high and at least shove out of bounds. To act as though it had "very little" to do with Fournette, who is 6'1 230 lbs, is you going full retard.

You even contradicted yourself earlier in your post.

clearly Fournette did something along the lines to make folks have to hit him low...

He was clearly just trying to jump over him so he didn't have to get run over but didn't jump high enough

No one wants to be the 8th guy going low to get trucked that day.

Gotta mix things up sometimes.

Yeah that was a wtf moment

I think he was trying to jump on his back to slow him down and one of his teammates in pursuit make the tackle? How hilarious would it have been if LF just carried him into the endzone.

He didn't just try to hit him high, he jumped over Fournette like he was pole vaulting. All Fournette had to do was duck a little.

It had everything to do with Fournette. He is herp a derping because he is realizing who he is trying to tackle. Think too much, herp a derp.

No, the main target is Auburn, some of the Arky people have some type of weird fixation with Gus.

He jumped AT Fournette. He tried to leave his feet and hit him high so he went out of bounds. Fournette has crazy arse balance and strength.

But continue thinking Fournette had "litte" to do with that and he'll continue to hit his power cleans and squats.

That's the thing, he didn't really hit fournette. The guy was scared to death of him. He basically faked a tackle attempt to avoid a tackle attempt. Auburn DBs were soft as cotton this year. It was sad to watch against lsu though, they played terrified.

That was the worst attempt at a tackle.

I'm getting tired of anytime someone posts abut a team it's because they're "obsessed". It's a fricking football forum. Posting about football doesn't make you obsessed.

It's too bad Alex Collins is going pro. Fournette got to watch Collins put on a clinic against LSU this year and it would have been good for his development to see Collins do it again next year.

Yea, he made a split decision between 2 options:

1-go for the legs and risk getting treated like that 1 aggy who no one remembers

2-go high and hopefully knock him out of bounds

both are terrible options and he chose to go high and hopefully push/drag him out of bounds.
