i think what i find surprising is how well tyler davis and ben simmons turn out to be, statistically, when neither are top 20 in usage rate

Some basketball nerds somewhere might get a hard on reading the shite that you posted but otherwise you wasted a bunch of bandwidth.

ill give a glossary for those who may not understand what these statistics are

PER is player efficiency rating. its supposed to give you an overall look at how the player is playing. the biggest flaw is that it really doesnt do a good job at accounting for defense

ORtg is offensive rating. its an efficiency measure. its supposed to reflect how many points a player is responsible for over 100 possessions

DRtg is defensive rating. its the defensive measure of ORtg. its how many points you are responsible for giving up over 100 possessions

eFG% is effective field goal percentage. it takes a more accurate look at field goal percentage by weighting the field goal attempts. a normal two point shot is counted as 1 attempt while three pointers are counted as 1.5 of an attempt

TS% is true shooting percentage. it takes all shots you have attempted, three, free throw, two, etc and just counts how many makes you have had against how many misses

TRB% is total rebounding percentage. its supposed to represent how many rebounds the player grabbed against how many were available

AST% is assist percentage. is supposed to reflect how large a percent of the teams made field goals that the player assisted

TO% is turnover percentage. its the same as AST% but for turnovers

Usg% is usage percent. its supposed to show how much of a teams offensive plays that a single player is used

OWS is offensive win shares. its supposed to reflect how much a players offensive performance is responsible for wins

DWS is defensive win shares. its the same as offensive win shares but for defensive performance

WS/40 is win shares over 40 minutes. its an estimate of a number of wins that the player is responsible for over the 40 minutes in a game. OWS, DWS, and WS/40 are basically basketballs version of WAR

Lack of turnovers for Simmons are a factor so far.

I would think total rebound percentage can show you that a team relies on 1 player to rebound too much. If a team does not have a player on that list, it's becaue they have several good rebounders.
