Ergo, Ole Miss has been cheating. People call out OM for cheating. You call those people "ignorant".

But by all means, keep trying to shoot the moon on these excuses of everything just breaking exactly the right way for a perennial cellar-dweller of a program.

Teams break rules all the time to get players to come to their schools or get them eligible. Ole Miss got caught, just fricking own it.

Nutt was responsible to the OM women's basketball team AND the academic fraud that took place?

We could have a picture of Hugh Freeze handing Tunsil a bag of cash, and for all you know, we do, and you still would think that your historically irrelevant school signed the best recruiting class in its existence because these 5* recruits just fell in love with Oxford.

Unfrickingreal. I would actually punch you right now if you were standing right in front of me.

Treadwells best friend from HS was on the team at OM. We got him for a visit. He fell in love with the offense (Moncreif) and Freeze. We go him.

Treadwell's best friend or just former team mate? Where did his other former team mates go to college?

Nkmedichie's brother was on the team. Mom lived in Africa. Wanted them to play together. Freeze getting OM to 6 wins in year 1 allowed Robert to actually give us a look.

this one was not surprising, just very lucky for ole miss his brother was on the team

Once word got out that we were getting the #1 player and #1 WR in the country people started to look into OM. We have a pretty good record for getting kids that make it for OV's in the spring. Tunsil was one of those.

a lot ole miss fans will even tell you Tunsil's commitment was shady.

Best friend is what I have always heard. I obviously have not asked either myself.

I always assumed it was the GF and brother that we found scholarships for. Maybe have been in the gray area but that was the story from day 1.

And I will. If it comes out in a couple of weeks that the 7 game suspension was for the text messages that NCAA found out about last summer and loaner car then I will admit it. I'm not until I have too. This is the rant.

I thought the suspension covered the payment in question also since Ole Miss had already told the NCAA about it. Hard to follow since you have multiple stories depending on what neighborhood of Delusionville a particular Ole Miss fan lives in.

2000 and 1962 matter in 2016 about the same. You Tennessee fans who want to beat your chest need to realize, you haven't done shite in almost 2 decades.

So you basically know nothing more than what has been regurgitated on the internet and message boards? Oh, and what the whole nation heard from the lips of Tunsil on Thursday night?

Would it make you feel better if I honestly and anonymously over the internet said I lived next to Tunsil's brother? I mean I didn't but I could make some bullshite up. Everything I have said has been public knowledge for 3+ years. IDK why people are arguing with these facts now.

Probably. But Tenn since 2000 is a lot closer to OM since 2000 than Pre 2000 Tenn.

I don't think it's public knowledge that Treadwell was best friend with the former team mate, a former team mate that left the Ole Miss program after Treadwell's freshman season. I also don't think it's public knowledge that Tunsil was just influenced by Nkimdiche and Treadwell signing. There actually isn't any clear picture of why he signed with Ole Miss.

People assumed Tunsil got paid, no one knew it as fact until he let it be known publicly last week.

Tennessee won the East in 2001, 2004, and 2007. They've had 4 10 win seasons. Their worst season was a 5-7 finish. Ole Miss has zero west titles, one 10 win season, and their worst season was 2-10, and Ole Miss has also gone 0-8 in the SEC twice in that time span. But I mean if you want to compare Tennessee now to a decade where they won 100 games, then sure they're technically closer, but they're still miles apart even post 2000

Details, Details. We can all agree V&S just post but doesn't actually say anything. Kind of like the kid on the basketball court who thinks he can dribble but never really moves towards the basket.
