They fired their HC mid season and still ended up with their DLine coach as their HC.
However, they believe they will land a big name OC. So does Ensminger get named after the bowl?

My money is on Applewhite. Maybe he won't have an affair with a student trainer again.

Take a little walk over to the coaching changes board and look at the one's defending Art Briles for OC. It's laughable.

Spurrier said a coach has 10 years max at a school. I don't blame them for wanting different ideas. I might not be the answer, but a different viewpoint was needed.

Why are LSU fans delusional because we think we will hire a good OC? It might not be Kiffin, but we will get a good one. One that is going to change the face of the Offense so get ready. LSU is a very attractive coaching destination and we are now willing to pay out the wazoo for a good one. But yeah, we are delusional and will have to settle for Ensminger....who has already said he doesn't want the position, he is getting older and just wants to coach TE. Why don't you go off

LSU fans are your distant relatives who you see once every 5 years that live in a trailer in some holler, make no taxable income, have no grass in the yard, spend too much time consulting with palm readers, raise sugar gliders, and put all their hope for future success in the lottery or some other lucky windfall.
The only thing they have to cling to is hope.
Let 'em have it.

Part of hiring O involved a solid plan to keep Aranda and hire a top OC. Sorry to disappoint you.

So whats the plan of coaching your team?

The head coach was intransigent when it came to offensive production and loyalty to his OC. He was let go to allow for offensive philosophical changes.

Orgeron's salary of $3 million will allow higher assistant salaries. I believe Dave Aranda's new contract brings him in the neighborhood of $2 million. Any offensive coordinator coming in at $2 million will be the highest paid OC in the NCAA. That should be a good incentive to land a quality coordinator.

No, it's been reported that while he'll be retained, his new duties are yet to be determined - probably back to TEs or maybe QBs.

I'm not sure why you think restructuring the staff salaries in order to attract a quality coordinator to be paid the highest salary is "delusional". Maybe that word doesn't mean what you think it means.
Meanwhile on the plains, Auburn will trying to be figuring out how they might actually get the ball in the end zone on LSU's defense next year.
