Les Miles was one of my favorite non-Gator coaches before, but after that special on Sid, I have a brand new respect for him as a man. LSU, I know you're proud of how he just represented your university.

My heart was broken watching that special. I just lost someone close to osteosarcoma a few weeks ago. That really hit home and was a great story.

people can say what they want about him as a coach. But I don't think anyone would argue that he isn't a great man

I want to run through a fricking wall for Les.

Eta: I sometimes wonder how he compares to great leaders in history. Patton. Julius Caesar. Hannibal. Scipio Africanus. Les inspires men, and it is a rare trait.

Miles is totally genuine, he truly loves being a coach to his players, a father figure, and a friend to all. There are none better than Les Miles..

It is good to see these coaches take time from their busy schedules to make a difference in someone's life. These kids especially idolize these players and teams and I am sure he made that young man extremely happy before he left this world. Coach Miles always seemed like a great man and proved it which is good on him. I hope more players and coaches learn from his example.
