Say what you will about Les but he's a great man, a class act, and will be fixture in college football for a long time. This interview shows how much he loves LSU and will continue to love LSU. I enjoyed almost half of my life with Les as the head coach at LSU and he will be sorely missed. There is only on CLM.

Yep. You can say what you want about him as a coach but Les is a good man and he continually showed that throughout his time at LSU in multiple situations. On the other hand, I think everyone realized it was time for LSU to make a move. Whether or not they handled it correctly isn't the point. Les Miles is a fantastic human being and shows it here once again.

Damn strong tiger. Wish he could stay involved here at LSU in an administrative role. He loves LSU

Les Been a phenominal ambassador for the tigers for 12 years. Really hopes he sticks around the community, lives in the BR area, and becomes one of us regular fans. We love him.

Hindsight is always clearer, but the best solution would have been to allow him to continue coaching, then as the season started winding down, make an announcement that he was going to retire from coaching and move into an administrative role in development for the AD. Then he could have enjoyed some last games with his players, and they would have played their hearts out for him. And probably won more games.

Water under the bridge now though.

Les has always been a class act. Like Spurrier (who was much more obnoxious), he will be missed.

Sincere and genuine from the moment he touched down. Strong man with a heavy heart, pure class and still showing love for LSU. Thank you Les for everything you did for this state. Thank you for bringing joy and giving hope when people needed it the most, you have touched so many people. The memories you have given us will always be cherished I am forever grateful for all of it. You will always be one of my favorite people of all time. Forever a Tiger.
Thank you Les.

I'm going to miss him.

Said he'd have a hard time not being a coach again. Sounds like someone's gonna get a awesome off-season pickup.

He's not making 5+ million a year anymore... No way he stays in East Baton Rouge Parish... Probably listed his house on Zillow at 8 am this morning.

I will always love Les Miles. I wish it could have
been possible for him to stay and retire at LSU. That however was not in the cards.

Good luck, Les.

Miles is a class act all the way around. Glad he came to LSU and helped the program but I believe his time had come and passed.

As an LSU fan, I hope the best for coach Miles and also for LSU football. If I ever passed him in an airport, I'd stop to shake his hand and thank him everything he did at LSU.

Les Miles is a mascot.

Nothing more.

Nice guy. Entertaining guy. Sure. Yeah. Great.

But he's not a football coach and doesn't deserve to be one anymore.
