Orgeron is interim coach? He's gonna try every trick in the book to keep the job, too.

I'm sure Les would have liked things to end better than this. I hope he gets a chance to finish the season.
Regardless, the dude has achieved a lot and his bank account proves it.

Jeeze. You guys who claim Alexander is the stupidest person in existence may actually be right.
Good luck rebuilding after this without massive, expensive cheating.

Might want to update this to include the official statement from the university

Of course, officially they didn't, but as far as I'm concerned, LSU beat Auburn. Auburn was given the win on a technicality, the snap not quite getting off. But Auburn was defending the play, they did not know either, and couldn't stop LSU from scoring.
Today, Gus has a job and Les doesn't by an officials decision that the final play (a TD by LSU) did not count, not by play on the field.

Hate to see him go this way. But he could have gone out on a high note last year. He chose not to. Sorry, but this is his fault.

Damn, we’re going to have to move fast to ditch the placeholder and snag Herman in Gainesville.

This doesn't seem like a rushed or poor decision- I'm sure it will work out just as well as firing Fulmer, Richt and that dude at Nebraska.

Eddy Orgeron will be the interim coach and the HC next year. Book it.

If I didn't know any better I'd think this would suggest Les Miles is a good coach. Or am I misunderstanding. But you said better. So now I'm lost again.

Personally I think it would be a big mistake to let him go.
Looks like I'm late. He gone.

Sure going to miss him in the SEC. He seems like a good person. He is a really good HC. It was just time for LSU to move on. I wish this had happened after last season instead of during the season though.

Bebe will be all in on the Bama game for sure. (LOL)

shite. Florida would have taken him last year I'd think.

Yes, Les is a classy guy and LSU's all-time winningest coach. They keep saying they want to go back to what they were. I'm not sure they know what they were. The Les Miles Era will always be the best era at LSU.
