The mad hatter getting paid not to play. $15 million

Beating your rival and demoralizing them so bad they have to fire their long time head coach. Priceless

I agree about changing his staff too. He's got the great young players. Just needs to get more aggressive playcalling.

This shite is getting out of hand. Lsu fans love les. He did great things for us. We can't deny that. But Jesus Christ all good things must come to an end. It's time. We're a young team but we're ALWAYS a young team. Terrible excuse. We didn't lose, we got raped by Bama, Arkansas and ole miss. This isn't a new thing for les. He has a game plan and sticks to it stubbornly. Not a good move for any coach. It's time to move on.

LSU Brass stopped issuing 3 year fully guaranteed contracts. LSU wouldn't budge on the Miles clause in Chavis' contract. LSU wouldn't renew Cam on the way to 7-0 when Miles went to LSU Brass to make it happen.

The warning signs were there well before 7-0. The wheels were in motion prior to 7-0 if you read the tea leaves.

There were rumblings before last years terrible season

He knew he was going to be in trouble with this team the nest few years.

Remember the open letter to the area of New Orleans?! I read that and thought why is he trying to make the fanbase reminisce about his tenure and past accomplishments?

I thought it was a tacking by his agent.

Looks like I was on to something.

I said I understand about the frustration from previous years but damn, it looks brutal going from #2 to get the hell out in 4 weeks time.

Yeah - if he is that bad then the AD that paid him $5mm+ needs to be fired first.

Two callers in a row on the Les Call in show are crying when they talk to Les. Dear Lord this is hard for me to listen to...

Les...

You still have the want, but Tiger fans do not.

We will cherish our many victories against your team, but are sad at the same time that me made Tiger fans' asses quit on you.

If you are free tomorrow, look me up and I will share a turkey leg and some tasty Bermuda with you.

Sincerely,

Sid

Les is a national treasure. It's a shame the way that LSU has left him twisting in the wind.

I guess not only does Les not get to see his recruits grow up on the field, now he will watch a different coach reap the benefits.

Yeah sorta like Mike Shula did with $aban?

I'm going to be really sad when he goes. I love the guy. But the game is passing him by and we have to do what's best for the program. We might screw up but we could do that by keeping him too. So it's time.

I'll be a Les Miles fan wherever he goes.

I will miss seeing him on the LSU sideline. I'm not one of the fire Les crowd but it looks like they finally got what they wanted.

It's time for a change, but damn this is sad.

Guy was a great ambassador for the University and program.

Also a DAMN fine man.

I love Les and don't want to see him fired, but his time has come and gone. It's time to part ways with him...
