Even though I am obviously super pleased at how well we did against LSU's running game on Saturday, it troubled me to see such disappointment on LF7's face.

He will get over this game, and pick up where he left off before the Bama game I am sure. I enjoy seeing this guy succeed.

His comments after the Bama game:
quote:

"I was(frustrated), but at the end of the day, we're a team," Fournette told reporters according to NOLA.com. "I can't do everything by myself, and, you know, forgive and forget. The O-line had a bad day, I had a bad day. As a unit, we had a bad day. It just wasn't our game, our day. You can't really put a lot of effort towards everything, put all of the blame on everybody else, not even the coaches. We took it upon ourselves. We just have to get better."

quote:

After the game, Fournette said Alabama players came up and offered encouragement. He called the Alabama front-seven a "great group of guys and even better people...They came to play."

On the idiotic sign:
quote:

"I (saw) them all on Twitter," Fournette said. "People do that. Nothing I can control. You cannot control other peoples' actions. You just have to react. We went out there and played our hardest."

LF7 is a mature, hard-working, humble guy who seems to have great perspective. Good luck to him and LSU the rest of the way.

Yes, and yet, LSU fans make him difficult to like.

I really like Fournette even before his rather unfortunate outing. He's a talented guy and a solid human being.

I do wish him a lot of yards in the coming games. Cause that just makes Alabama's D-Line just look that more ungodly.

Consider what this says about you as much as what it makes you think about whomever these hypothetical LSU fans are.

I feel bad about the dogs in the Sarah McLachlan commercials

LF31 has almost 200 fewer yards than Elliot against us and was stood up by frontrunner Henry this year

He is an okay back

Why would you? He has earned Heisman so far even with piss poor performance Saturday..

I hate the Heisman ever since Peyton got screwed it's not the best player it's who media likes and who is top 4 team.

Should make Heisman a team sport based on the the media.

I can't even dislike him. Seems like a solid dude on and off the field. Until November next year I wish him nothing but the best.

This exactly! But I like him, he's a great player and run to watch, especially against Auburn!
LF7 or Henry for heisman!

And also that your ability to be rational or control your emotions is easily manipulated by people whose intent is to make that happen.

I wouldn't let this place affect you so much, chap. We are all mostly fake, as far as each other person on here is concerned. Leonard is real, and he's spectacular.

Being as young as he is, he keeps the team united, which generates a lot of excitement and leads towards an overall pleasant attitude.

How do lsu fans make him difficult to like? If you are a fan of football, you should be a fan of LF. Players like him don't come around often

That has been my impression watching him play this season. You can tell a lot about a person from body language and Fournette showed a lot of composure even through an obviously disappointing loss to Bama.

And if you research the history of the winners prior to him, you'll realize it's nothing new.

This award has been a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately media pageant for decades now.

Sure, some years they get it right. But most years it's the media darling.

It's mostly because of the 2 weeks leading up to the game.
