McFadden was something else. Guy could take over a game, like all of the great ones. I was at the 2007 Arky/Bama game and he was killing our defense. Still not sure how we won that game.

Mcfadden ran an official time of 4.33 at the combine.

Too bad those Sunday games aren't played in shorts and track shoes. Unfortunately McFadden isn't physical enough to absorb the punishment of the NFL. 4.33 don't mean shite those 4-5 times a year when he's on the sidelines in street clothes.

Have a hard time seeing him not winning the Heisman barring injury, he is the best player in the country. His big plays almost become boring because there's so many of them.

Only thing you could ask for more is receptions, but even Miles isn't that dumb to take that risk when he can just hand it to him...

No one would ever compare those two. Fournette is in another stratosphere and I love Drake.

Oh I know, and I wasn't picking on Drake. I looked up the yards/attempt stats in the SEC and Drake is at 5.0, which would be the guy right in front of Fournette's yards after contact number of 4.9.

I guess I could have said Fournette's 4.9 yards after contact would be right in front of JoJo Kept from Kentucky who is averaging 4.82 yards per attempt, but that didn't have the gravitas I wanted.

Guarantee you Les gives him a Heisman moment in a November game and lets him throw a pass from the Wildcat.

Hopefully against A&M.

I'm surprised Drake is at 5 ypc. Seems like he runs into the line and then tries to bounce it out and lose 2 or gain 2. I'm happy he has recovered from his injury, but he hasn't contributed what I'd hoped he would so far.

Fournette could play in the NFL today. Like start this Sunday on a team if he knew the playbook. He's physically ready and would be an upgrade for some teams at RB. Honest opinion.

I'll wait to see how he does against Bama before I give him praise. If he gashes
them, he undoubtedly will win the heisman. That will be the toughest d line he'll face and will be interesting how he and the coaches handle it. Surely after watching the Georgia game there will be a plan set into motion.
. I agree with this.

Now you know how we feel with the endless Bama hype - machine every damn year.

Why not just appreciate the talent and leave it at that

I remember, circa 2001, being excited if we ever got a mention on ESPN whatsoever

Now, we're really good and they talk about us a lot.

It's really not complicated. I don't think it's a conspiracy

I mean, do we not deserve the "hype"? What exactly is the hype machine?

Not a flame at all, actual question as I haven't watched much of lsu this year. How many, if any, times has he been brought down for a loss this season?
