As a Bama guy I looked forward to that game the most. Always competitive, the best of the best athletes playing big boy smash mouth football. Its actually boring beating the pulp out of everyone.

I'm hoping the Tigers fire O asap and get a real coach before too much damage is done.

Honestly the last home game non conference lost this embarrassing was UAB. Guess who was LSU's coach? With 3 future NFL QB's on that roster. (Only a few season not many starts, but made the rosters) That squad has many similarities to this year. There were many transfers, kicked off the team and big holes in the depth chart at key positions.

Can't see the turn around happening this time.

Good thing lsu excels at stopping the forward pass, and jalen struggles with it... considering it an easy w is full blown retarded.

Dude Alabama just murdered Ole Miss and Vanderbilt

Two teams that would likely beat LSU

There is a 0% chance that game is close

I remember before Saban was hired in Tusc saying how much better the conference is when Bama's a factor.

Jesus, talk about "be careful what you wish for"!

Ironically the UAB loss was a turning point and marked the resurgence of LSU football. The very next week the Tigers upset Tennessee in Tiger Stadium and what followed were 2 national championships in 7 years and the most successful era in LSU football history.

I have a feeling that the loss to Troy will be a requiem, not a rebirth.

Coach O or neaux, I don't think that will change. I expect it to be as hard a fought game as any UA will play this year.

The chance to break the streak and contribute to ending another UA SEC title run would be a huge win to bolster a season currently in danger of spiraling out of control.

Lsu is a very talented team and will play with purpose. I'll be very surprised if it's not a competitive game. But, even if it isn't, I know they'll play it out with pride instead of going cheap and petty like Ole Miss did.

People acting like its all O's fault. Any coach would be dealing with this right now. No wr because Les didn't use them and think OLine. Thin D Line.

If AU can come back from a 2-10 season and go to the Natty in two years. LSU can get back to 4 losses a year pretty quick.

While I agree it is foolish to even consider LSU a foregone conclusion, your logic isn't sound.

If I have a weak left hook, and you excel at blocking/countering left hooks, why would I create a fight plan built on left hooks?

Likewise, assuming you perception of strengths and weaknesses are valid at the time of the game. UA will likely not scheme their perceived weakness against LSU's perceived strengths. LSU is going to have to stop the run and screen game as an extension of the run, contain the QB, and not get beat on the occasional PA pass.

I doubt winning or losing boils down to Jalen's passing yards in this game.

For gods sake.

We were dominated on the lines by TROY. Are you saying Troy is more talented then LSU?

So this means the 'game of the century' for this season already happened this past weekend, correct?

You've not been watching Jalen this year. That said LsUbalways shows up for Bama game. But your secondary ain't what it used to be. Plus Bama might just run it down your throat.

Alabama doesn't have to throw a single pass against LSU this year. What's your over/under pass attempts for Alabama in this game? I would set the line at 10.5 and go under. Alabama will run the ball right at LSU's weak defense and there isn't anything they can do to stop it.

They were saturday. Talent potential and on field production aren't the same. We can't catch because our WRs didnt want to stay with Les. So we have the leftovers. Malachi screwed us too. Oline attrition. Dline thin. Young backers. its a perfect storm of suck.

Not offended by your post. By the product LSU put on the field.

Thought that was obvious.
