Yep! Last year UGA inked a 5 year deal with Fermata Partners LLC.

Collegiate Licensing Co. may be the big dog on the block, but that didn't stop newcomer Fermata Partners LLC from landing the licensing rights for The University of Georgia.
Atlanta-based Fermata Partners inked a five-year deal with the school to handle licensing of T-shirts, jerseys, caps and all other products with UGA's logos. The deal will grant the new company 10 percent of royalties against the wholesale cost of a product (up to $6.6 million) and 15 percent of all royalties after the $6.6 million mark. The university gets the remainder of the royalties.

UGA's consumer products generated nearly $100 million in annual retail sales and ranked among the Top 5 selling universities during the 2013-2014 academic year, according to Fermata.

UGA isn't the first program Fermata landed. Earlier this year, the agency inked deals with the University of Kentucky and the University of Miami.
CLC, an IMG College company, has been the longtime licensing agent for Georgia and lost the licensing rights after a six-member committee at UGA issued a request for proposals during the summer.

Places like Texas and Texas A&M that produce lots of living alumni each year should always have a population edge over the longer timeline.

Dude...Mizzou is the 3rd largest school in the SEC. I don't think producing living alumni is an issue for us. Try again, Cheese.

SEC is not exactly the home of the large schools. If it were, the SECN would be through the roof. SEC has product, B1G has population. If you would let the fur on your back relax you would see what I am getting at. The TAMU poster above got it right off the bat. The folks in College Station had a huge jump when they went to the SEC. So far you have not shown me a jump, which is the question I asked that you still have not answered.

Schools like Notre Dame have huge sales with few alumni because that have a massive sidewalk fan base to draw from. That is what the brand schools do so generally the Top 10 will be a mix of brands and large alumni. Mizzou is not a brand so they can only really count on the alumni side of the equation. If they are flirting in the 20's and did not drop 5 or 10 spots the year they joined the SEC then the alumni are not moving the needle the same way the TAMU alumni have.

UK used to make top 5 - 10 every year. Must have changed distributors?

They did in the past year or so.

CLC was Alabama
Host was Kentucky

Both were bought out and merged to form IMG College. When IMG moved out of LEX the jobs went to ACC country. UK has since withdrawn as and IMG and a CLC school.

Because ESPN has promoted the shite out of A&M, while ignoring Missouri. A&M had more potential as well, but I think all the free advertising has helped more then anything.
