Last Series at Old Alex Box vs Last at Dudy Noble

In 2008, LSU outscored Miss St 40-16 in their last series at the old Box. Skip was there to package the tradition and send it over to the new stadium where the Tigers won their 6th National Championship the following year.
This past weekend, State showed what lowly cattle they are. Swept at home and outscored 25-13, they closed the book on their history at what I've always assumed to be some type of converted livestock barn.
Goodbye and good riddance.

This attitude is going to look especially stupid when their renovations are complete and they have likely the best stadium in college baseball.

That stadium is going to look especially stupid when they can't even beat Ole Miss in attendance.
Bama baseball (lol) has the nicest stadium in the SEC right now and how dumb do they look not even making the tourney. I think there were 500 fans at their home finale.

Ironic given that the new Alex Box is adjacent to a cow pasture on River Road. Every game at that stadium reeks of cow shite.

Could have swore our last series at the old Box was an awesome super regional with a clutch 9th inning comeback in game 2 and the last reprisal of Gorilla Ball in game 3...
As opposed to the last series (for now) at the old Dudy Noble being just like so many others in the past when LSU put it on Miss Stake. They better do something in Hoover to have a chance to erase that stink with one more home weekend.

Dang man...that's gonna be a niceee field once completed. Congrats to MSU getting a ball park they deserve!
