Last night was possibly the last time Auburn goes against Spurrier

We aren't scheduled to play USC again until 2021, barring a rematch sometime in Atlanta, or Auburn moving to the East division. I suspect he doesn't coach 7 more years.
Unless all that happens, his final record against AU will be 10-9 (10-3 @ UF, 0-6 @ USC).
I was a student when he was at Florida. Seems like the end of an era of sorts.

Is this where I talk about permanent cross division games?

This is a HUGE stat IMO.
Except for the '10 SEC 'ship game (first half was though ..but the last second hail mary td before half from Cam to DA settled that one) all 6 of those games have been very much like last night..pretty close, no matter where either team was or was not ranked. ALWAYS a hard fought game and one of my favorite to attend and to watch..except last night. I hated watching that one. Love him, hate him or indifferent him he is and will always be one of the best.
