So you think he just made up this charge?

I just burned a little cross in support for our Ole Miss brothers under the gun

A person in the thread asked. I provided the answer. You have an issue with that?
Strongfellow or stringfellow....didn't he already get in trouble at Ole Miss? lol.

I'm sure he did have that charge in the past. It just doesn't make any difference in this case.

I doubt a reporter would put out something like that if it wasnt a fact

You provided a snarky answer. And yeah he did but he's not missing any time

I'd be very surprised if he didn't shove her at a minimum. He admitted he "cussed" at her, and that they were arguing.
Seems much more believable to me that he crossed a line & paid the price for it than the narrative of him being some benevolent, caring stepfather concerned about his stepson's eligibility.
I know it's not a popular view on here right now (aside from OM fans), but IMO is the most probable version of events out o those we've speculated upon.
He's got nothing to lose by claiming all this improper benefits stuff because the NCAA has no legal jurisdiction, and it's not a crime to lie to them, mislead them or otherwise fail to be fully truthful and forthcoming.
Seems to be a vindictive prick to me and probably deserved what he got.

It hurts his credibility. That's what I mean. He's obviously trying to get cash out of this since he fricked that up when he pushed Tunsil's mom
Posted on 7/6/15 at 5:19 pm to Crowknowsbest
So you don't think it hurts his credibility in the slightest?

Exactly. He can lie all day long to the NCAA and it will get him some hush money from Ole Miss people even though he has nothing.

damage control for dummies tactic #1: discredit all witnesses

Note it says charge, not conviction.

His credibility means dick to the NCAA. The only thing they will care about is what sort of info he can provide against Tunsil and OM.
This isn't a jury trial.

This doesn't mean he pushed Tunsil's mom.
FTR, I think he most likely did and is likely looking for money. The NCAA doesn't care about that though. Gurley's accuser was looking for money. It didn't help Gurley.

It makes the "he shoved her" narrative far more believable. It also makes the 'vindictive prick trying to destroy the career of kid who beat him up out of pure spite' narrative muchore plausible.
In the absence of bank records showing shady payments, it most definitely does impact what if any punishment is handed down, IMO.

His word against their's. Convictions don't usually come without physical evidence but dude has put himself in this situation more than once.
