OXFORD — Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was named the SEC’s freshman of the week today.
Treadwell caught nine passes for 82 yards against Vanderbilt on Thursday, with all but one of those catches coming in the second half as the Rebels mounted a comeback.
After week 1 Treadwell is second in the SEC in catches and second nationally among freshmen (Southern Miss’ Tyre’oune Holmes had 12 receptions).
Won't be the last time you see this.

Vandy had one of the best secondaries in the SEC last year.
