would be fine with this hire as I think he had a bad situation with USC and did a fine job in his 1 year with UT before obviously bolting. Add in his now time under Saban, and I think he'd do well at LSU.

I want him to stay with us as OC for 4 more seasons. Saban retires, LK takes over, Sark becomes OC, Pruitt gets a huge raise to stay

Yeah, dreamin'

I agree and I think Saban is probably facilitating the hire and working behind the scenes to get Joey the job.

I think Tiffin goes to LSU and proves himself for for or five years and when Suban retires he comes back to Tuscaloosa to lead the Tide. I kidding but could you imagine the melt that would take place if that actually happened?

I was;t kidding about Tiffin to LSU and I think Saban is helping with this through his contacts at LSU.

You've done this before. Tiffin is name of two Bama kickers. Not a typo either. T&K are not close on the keyboard.

if we can't have Herman or Jimbo, I think Lane is the 3rd best option. Id take him over some of the lower level coaches, or a older retread.

His one season in Tenn was the best they have had in a while. USC was a dumpster fire but then again they have been shite since sanctions so that was stupid to go to it.

He is an offensive guru and will have us competing on O so that will be nice. He has his good buddy coach O here so O probably stays as dline coach or gets promoted to DC.

The question is can he oversee the program. I think with Lane being young enough he can call our offense and go with the correct strategy that saban utilizes which is handle his specialty and then let his other side do the work.

So lane controls our O and the overall program, leaves the D in the hands of our DC.

Is is it a gamble? yes, however its better than keeping lestard and it is better than any other viable option.

Has kiffen indicated he wants to stay in the SEC? Working under saben, he can afford to wait for the job he wants. He may want to go back to the west coast or the nfl even

I think the Jimbo shipped sailed for good unless we are his absolute dream job. He was ready to come and then F king fricked it up so hard. I just don't see him willing to get on the boat this time.

I will take Kiffin
