Lane Kiffin to Arkansas

In life there are some mistakes you make even though you know they're mistakes. Typically you make these mistakes after a long period on monotony just to add some entertainment to your life.
Arkansas is at this point as a football program, and the perfect coach to solve that is Lane Kiffin.
I think Lane could have more success with the Hogs than Bert. Arkansas is meant to be an offensive team based on getting its best players in space.
It'd be a dangerous hire sure, but Lane will
1) Add excitement to a program in desperate need of it
2) Play a more entertaining brand of football that will actually give Arkansas a consistent chance against teams that typically out muscle them like Alabama, LSU, & Auburn. I think Cole Kelly could really thrive in Lane's offense as well.
3) Likely recruit better than Bert

Brohm would probably be better, but I don't see him leaving Purdue so soon. Brohm is destined to recreate the prolific pass offenses of the 90s at Florida once Jim flames out.

I think he was a serious candidate when the Hogs landed Petrino in Dec 2007. Seems I read he was a little upset he didn't get it.

I haven't watched any of their other games, but I was really impressed with his (I assume its his) playcalling during the CSU-Bama game. I know UGA fans were upset with him towards the end of his tenure, but a man can evolve.

I'd be happy with him. It's not the popular answer amongst our fans but I think it'd be a good fit.

I think We punt a bit on the next hire. Probably take a look at a Chad Morris + Jeff Traylor combo from SMU. Try to change culture and pipeline Texas again. Not the craziest idea out there.

I wouldn't hire Lane Kiffin under any circumstances. Not even to cut my lawn.
